 | | NEW MINI SHOWER VALVES FROM DEVA | | | Deva Tap Company | | 23/06/2008 | | | Deva, one of the UK's largest suppliers of bathroom and kitchen taps, showers and bathroom accessories, has launched three new mini shower valves – the 7000 range - to enhance its current product offering.
Sleek and modern, the compact 7000 range sits well in any contemporary or classic bathroom setting. Whether using the exposed or concealed option available in each box, the three aesthetically pleasing designs will bring understated elegance to any shower setting.
The introduction of the smaller range capitalizes upon the current trend for smaller bathrooms. Flats now account for 47% of dwellings, compared with 16% in 1997 and the number of people living alone is expected to increase from 22 million to around 26 million by 2026, creating a demand for more smaller, properties.1
Deva’s marketing manager, Claire Stokes comments: “The 7000 range is perfect for rooms that have limited space but need to look stylish, in addition to being functional.”
The reduction in size does not equate to a reduction in performance, quite the reverse. The new valves are all thermostatically controlled and approved to TMV2 Build cert standards, meaning that scalding is prevented through accurately controlling the water temperature below a pre-set level.
Every year around 20 people die and another 570 are seriously injured as a result of scalds caused by hot water.2 The 7000 range ensures that hot and cold water is blended evenly to ensure constant, safe outlet temperatures that prevent scalding; perfect for use in the domestic, commercial and leisure sectors.
Providing individual control for flow and temperature regulation, the three shower valves are suitable for both unbalanced water pressures and combination boilers. Recommended pressure is 0.3 to 3.0 bar.
To mark the launch of the 7000 range, Deva is offering a 17.5% reduction on price and free displays to orders of four and above, an offer, which will run from 1st June – 31st August 2008.
