 | | ADDAGRIP LAUNCHES SELF-SMOOTHING FLOORING | | | Addagrip Surface Treatments UK Ltd | | 17/06/2008 | | | Addagrip has just launched EP Addalevel SL2K, the company’s latest self-smoothing epoxy floor finish. SL2K provides a gloss surface in a choice of colours that can be used on both old and new concrete floors.
SL2K is a pigmented, seamless flow applied flooring system based on a solvent-free, two-part epoxy resin incorporating special fillers. The result is a smooth, impervious and hard wearing surface which is ideal for situations where hygiene, durability and ease of cleaning are important. SL2K is completely watertight and provides good resistance to most chemicals including alkalis, oils, fats and salts. It also offers some resistance to acids.
Typical applications of SL2K include industrial premises, warehouses, processing areas, pharmaceutical facilities, clean rooms and hangar floors. One of the first applications of SL2K has been in a ‘Scouts Shops’ warehouse, where approximately 2,000m” of warehouse space has been surfaced with the product. SL2K was specified for this project because of its hardwearing properties and because it requires little maintenance for several years.
SL2K joins Addagrip’s range of resin flooring, offering a wide spectrum of products and formulations suitable for a variety of applications. Addagrip resin flooring can be used not only for industrial purposes but also for creative design, where a variety of different colours and finishes are available. | |
