 | | WAVE OF DESIGN INTRODUCES NEST RANGE BY RIFRA | | | Wave of Design | | 13/06/2008 | | | Nest is an effortlessly neat and elegant collection of bathroom sanitaryware, designed by Italian manufacturer Rifra and brought to the UK by the company’s sole selling agent, Wave of Design.
The new range, signed by Hannes Wettstein, comprises of a bathtub and complementary wash basin and is characterised by smooth round lines to convey, as the name suggests, the warmth of a nest. With gently sloping angles and rounded edges, the collection is sure to create a feeling of being at one with nature, helping to ease the stresses of daily life.
Designed with beauty and harmony in mind, both items owe their aesthetic appeal to the natural stone from which they are made. Available in a range of colourways including Sahara, Gobi and Tymanfaya Stone, the units are also offered in a unique Piertraluce finish of black, white gloss and opaque which lend the bath and basin a delicate shimmer.
The tubs in this collection are freestanding and measure 190cm long x 85cm wide x 53.5cm high, while the deck mounted wash basin sits at 75cm wide x 40cm deep x 16cm high. | |
