 | | M.R. SITE SERVICES HIGHLY COMMENDED IN SPECIALISTS AWARDS 2008 | | | MR Site Services | | 13/06/2008 | | | M.R. Site Services has just won the distinction of being ‘Highly Commended’ and runner-up in the roofing category of the Specialists Awards 2008, organised by Construction News.
In a year when a record number of entries were received, aluminium roof welding specialists M.R. Site Services impressed the judges with its “clear commitment to advanced craftsmanship and innovation in methods and techniques.” They also noted that the company’s “commitment to customers is proved by their responses.”
M.R. Site Services has recently provided aluminium roof welding for major projects which were submitted as part of their entry including Heathrow’s T5, Diamond Syncrotron in Oxford, the Colchester Garrison in Essex and the new RNLI building in Poole.
As well as aluminium welding, M.R. Site Services also develops much needed components for a high performance aluminium roof including walkway systems, access hatches, roll-a-systems and snowguards.
Managing director Melvyn Rowberry received the award on behalf of the company at the award ceremony on 7 May 2008 at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London. He said, “We are delighted to have been acknowledged at these awards. Our quality approach to site welding of thin gauge aluminium is something we are proud of and has been instrumental in making contemporary architecture and the roof lines we see today possible like the Millennium Dome, the Millennium Stadium and the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre.” | |
