Proof that the wood window is at last heading towards the long predicted renaissance comes in the shape of a remarkable piece of well designed hardware aimed at the timber window market by PC Henderson.

Weatherfold Window is based on PC Henderson’s proven folding timber door technology marketed under the Weatherfold brand.

Suitable for timber folding windows, shutters or even servery doors, Weatherfold Window is a miniature version of the folding door system but is still able to handle up to 30kg per panel.

Like the senior Weatherfold system, PC Henderson’s window hardware has high speed, precision bearings, grooved wheel hangers and components made in high grade 316 stainless steel, as standard.

This discreet system runs on an aluminium alloy track only 31mm high and 41mm wide.

The upshot of this compact design is that the hardware can be neatly recessed into the opening head timber.

One of the really clever things about Weatherfold Window is that the system operates without any bottom guides removing the need for any unsightly guide channel across the opening.

Weatherfold Window has hinges sized to suit 60mm thick sashes. Despite the compact design, the high strength stainless steel construction ensures long life term and great performance.
