Armourcoat polished plaster has been specified throughout the new ultra-fashionable GBP17 million Hoxton Hotel in East London. Dubbed London's first 'luxury budget' boutique hotel, the venture is the brainchild of Sinclair Beecham, co-founder of the Pret-A-Manger sandwich chain Designed by Bell Slater Architects, the 4-star hotel offers 205 elegantly styled rooms, finished with a minimalist contemporary decor.

Each room and corridor within the hotel features a striking Armourcoat Spatulata wall finish overlaid with a series of modern London themed stencil designs. A custom designed surface effect was specially created for the Hoxton Hotel in conjunction with the client and architect. Applied by specially trained Armourcoat craftsmen, the resulting finish forms an incredibly stylish, durable and seamless wall surface. The lack of any joints gives the surface a natural continuity which is almost monolithic in feel.
