Leading hardwood distributor Timbmet has appointed Park Royal-based Perfect Crystal Windows as a lead fabricator of its Mitre Master range for Greater London. Under the new agreement, the highly successful uPVC window business will expand its product range to include timber windows and doors plus the manufacture and installation of long-lasting timber conservatories as an environmentally friendly alternative to uPVC.

“We’re delighted to have been appointed as a key fabricator for Mitre Master,” said PCW’s Managing Director Damian Pawlak. “We have always prided ourselves on delivering products of the highest quality and having our own glass production line, framing, design and customer service team under one roof means we can back this up with excellent service and a 10 year warranty on all our products.”

“The quality of PCW’s work is exceptional and they have a well deserved reputation, not only in the residential market but across the Capital’s substantial Polish building industry,” added Mitre Master’s Ken Maynard. “Under the new agreement we’re looking forward to working together to bring Mitre Master to a wider audience across Greater London.”

About Mitre Master
Traditionally, timber mortice and tenon joints have been associated with premature deterioration. The Mitre Master system eliminates this problem by holding the mitred joints firmly in place with concealed chevrons, offering the ideal solution in terms of aesthetics, performance and security.

The unique system provides pre-profiled sections requiring minimal machining. Where it is needed, Mitre Master’s compact hardware facilitates the manufacture of several styles of windows, doors and conservatories at a semi-skilled level. Weekly, nationwide deliveries mean the requirement for holding stock is minimal.

Mitre Master has been approved by TRADA and certified to ISO 9001, with all windows achieving Severe Weather ratings. All hardwood used is classed as ‘durable material’ with a high structural strength and built-in longevity. All timber comes finished with a micro-porous stain in a range of colours. A wide range of products including casements, vertical sliding sashes, tilt-and-turn windows, French doors and conservatories can all be manufactured quickly
and easily using the patented Mitre Master system.

About Perfect Crystal Windows
Perfect Crystal Windows founder Marek Pawlak began making windows and doors in Poland in 1990. After 11 successful years, his nephews Damian and Krystian moved to London, opening The Window Company in Perivale, to produce frames and glass for the domestic market. In 2002 the company expanded into double glazing units and glass. Spotting an increase in demand for internal glazing, PCW diversified into balustrade rails and glass partitions, necessitating a move to larger premises in Park Royal in 2006. Today the company employs 25 people in the manufacture and installation of high quality glass, windows, doors, conservatories, glass roofs, baluster rails and glass partitions.
