RS Components’ customers can now experience the advantages that using Fluke TiR thermal imaging equipment can provide in various applications, particularly preventative maintenance and building inspection.

Thermal imaging technology offers substantial benefits to workers involved in fields such as building restoration, construction and management. Examples include the early detection of wet insulation in roofing systems, conduction of infrared energy audits for residential and commercial applications, helping increase the thermal efficiency of a home or building by scanning for thermal heat loss, moisture invasion, concrete integrity and heat ventilation problems. TiR can also accurately detect moisture located behind exterior and interior walls, in ceilings or under carpet-covered floors, and even find unknown sources of moisture that would otherwise go undetected. Infrared scanning is the fastest most efficient way to provide 100% moisture detection coverage.
