ECOSTAR REACHES FOR THE SKY

Redhill Aerodrome in Surrey was the venue for the first of a series of technical seminars to be held by Bitzer UK, featuring the new Ecostar® intelligent plug-and play condensing unit. Delegates were treated to a presentation by Bitzer UK’s Engineering Manager Kevin Glass. He highlighted the main energy saving and technical features of Ecostar® as well as its potential applications within retail and other market sectors.

The presentation was followed by the opportunity for delegates to fly above the Surrey/Kent countryside in specially arranged helicopter flights – an opportunity taken up by virtually everyone. Kevin Jones of KJR said: “The Ecostar® presentation was very informative and it was a very relaxing and enjoyable day.” Paul Kennet of Farm Refrigeration commented: “A very well planned seminar with excellent technical information. We shall look to use Ecostar® as soon as potential applications arise.”

This was the first of a number of regional seminars to be organised by Bitzer UK on Ecostar®. The next date is June 26 2008 at York and there will be another opportunity to enjoy a helicopter ride too.
