 | | RESIN SURFACES APPOINTS TOP REFEREE TO OVERSEE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT | | | Resin Surfaces Ltd (RSL) | | 03/06/2008 | | | Resin flooring manufacturer, Resin Surfaces Ltd, is continuing a period of sustained growth with the appointment of Barry Priest as business development manager. Barry is a former top class referee, with experience of taking charge of some of the world’s best footballers and managers in the English Premier League and European Champions League.
Barry has been appointed to oversee the expansion of the Stockport based manufacturer, which has recently completed high profile projects at News International, in Broxbourne, and Westland Helicopters in Yeovil.
After beginning his career in the steel industry, Barry, who lives in Haley Green, has extensive experience in the construction and engineering section. His main responsibilities will include building the company profile amongst architects, specifiers and quantity surveyors, as well as handling key contractor relationships and investigating ways to develop Resin Surfaces Ltd.
Ivy Wroe, Managing Director at Resin Surfaces, says: “Barry has a large role to play in the development of this business and we are delighted he is on board. His wealth of experience in a number of sectors and network of contacts will make him a valuable asset at Resin Surfaces as we continue to grow and increase our market share. Still a well-known face on the football pitch, Barry continues his 34 year refereeing career at amateur level across the UK, taking charge of FA Vase and county matches, while he is also a fully qualified keep fit instructor.
