 | | FIRST FIX! – KEM EDWARDS CHOSEN AS INAUGURAL ASSOCIATE MEMBERS OF THE CONSTRUCTION FIXINGS ASSOCIATION (CFA) | | | Kem Edwards Ltd | | 16/05/2008 | | | Kem Edwards Ltd., suppliers to the construction industry nationwide, are the first ‘Approved Distributors’ to be appointed as Associate Members of the CFA under this new membership category designed to recognise high standards of technical support and service.
The Associate Members will supply products from at least one of the full members including anchors with European Technical Approvals for safety critical applications. They can arrange for training in the installation of anchors and site testing where necessary.
The first Associate Membership was presented to Richard Edwards, Managing Director of Kem Edwards Ltd., by Chairman of the CFA, Dr Pietro Grandesso, who said: “Kem Edwards are the ideal partner for the CFA as they work to the highest standards of integrity and technical excellence. I am delighted that they are the first of our new Approved Distributors.”
Richard Edwards commented: “I am very pleased for Kem Edwards to be able to join the CFA as an Approved Distributor as I feel it is important that we all strive to improve the standards of how fixings are sold and installed on sites, what the CFA are doing is a great step forward in achieving this.”
Kem Edwards supplies over 15,000 stock items including fixings, site equipment, mechanical and electrical components, tools, PPE and general site supplies. It has built a reputation for sourcing highly innovative fixings that help save time and costs including products from Fischer, Spit, Unistrut and Walraven. | |
