 | | REDLAND LAUNCHES NEW RED BOOK TECHNICAL HELP AVAILABLE ON NEW WEBSITE | | | Monier Limited | | 14/05/2008 | | | Redland has published the latest version of its popular Red Book, which now includes a revised and updated Guide to Roofing Systems, the brand new DesignMaster 5 CD-ROM, the company’s popular roof specification tool containing over 5,000 quality roofing drawings - together with guides for the Redland Metal Roofing System and renewable energy range.
The new, 120-page Guide to Roofing Systems covers the complete Redland range of Redland roof slates and tiles, metal sheets, fittings, accessories and solar energy systems. Also included is information on the company’s range of technical services for the trade which are designed to make Redland products easy to specify and easy to install. These include SpecMaster and FixMaster, the specification services for roofs and fixing, and QuantMaster, the roof component quantity estimating service.
Among the new products featured are Rosemary Craftsman – a machine-made clay tile with a characterful hand-made appearance; Cathedral and Old Hollow clay pantiles; and the Redland Solar Water Heater, the latest addition to its renewable energy range.

To mark the company’s return to the historic Redland name in the UK, Redland has also introduced a new website. Apart from covering the complete product range on-line, users registering on the site can access SpecMaster and FixMaster, and download from a selection of more than 5,000 roofing drawings, all from the Services section of the website. The QuantMaster service will be available online later this year.
Registered users can also download a comprehensive range of literature and supporting material, from the Pocket Guide to Roofing to fixing specification tables, detailed fixing instructions for each product and BBA certificates. | |
