Sill Lighting has just introduced another new model to its Gimbal range of lighting, all of which are designed for external use.

The 021 series Gimbal Post System comprises central aluminium upright with a two-luminaire Gimbal system mounted either side. This new system offers lighting designers and specifiers the opportunity to use a very striking style of luminaire for the lighting of amenities and building facades.

The adjustability of the luminaires within the Gimbal system gives enormous lighting flexibility and at the same time, the system with its finned diecast bodies and intricate design detailing, all make a design statement ideally complementing the architecture of many urban settings.

Made to IP67 for full weather protection, the O21 series Gimbal Post System has a frame and Gimbal made from high strength aluminium and the inset 021 series projectors have bodies precision diecast in Si12 aluminium with high quality optics, for optimum light distribution using any of the 35W to 250W metal halide lamp options available. Separate matching gear boxes, also made in high specification aluminium, are incorporated into the lower part of the Gimbal systems.

The usual 02 series accessories of lens and filters are available, plus LED options using the 04 series purpose-designed high heat dissipation bodies.
