 | | ICOPAL MAKES A KEY APPOINTMENT | | | Icopal | | 22/04/2008 | | | Icopal, the world leader in roofing and construction membranes, has built on its key account business with the appointment of a new UK sales development director.
Barry Kirkland, who has 15 years’ experience in the specialist construction products sector, will lead Icopal’s key accounts team and strengthen the company’s partnerships and projects proposition across the country from its Manchester headquarters.
Most recently a senior sales director for an industrial roofing products company, Barry, 35, was responsible for implementing a sales and marketing strategy that significantly increased sales turnover.
His new appointment at Icopal will involve developing relationships and formal partnerships with large organisations including estate owners, contractors and developers.
“I’m looking forward to delivering a new stage of growth so Icopal can maintain its reputation as the world’s number one supplier of specialist construction membranes,” he said. | |
