IT’S ALL IN THE NAME AS THINSULEX BECOMES TLX

What’s in a name . . . . uttered Juliet in Shakespeare’s lyrical tale of star-crossed lovers. Well according to Web Dynamics plenty and that’s why the UK based company is re-branding to TLX from March this year.

Thinsulex, the first multi-foil to gain BBA certification, LABC type approval and NHBC acceptance will re-brand to TLX to make asking for the product by name simpler at the trade counter.

Recent research uncovered that it hasn’t always been easy to recall the Thinsulex product name and previous `hiccups’ include Thinsulux, Thermulex and Thinmulate.

As a company which prides itself in the development and manufacture of quality multi-foil insulation with a scientific approach to developing smart insulation solutions, it knew it had to act.

The result was TLX which is everything Thinsulex was. It:
• delivers on U-value requirements (guaranteed to provide a U-value of 0.2)
• increases air-tightness
• is a quality product made to ISO9002
• has a 25 year guarantee
• it cuts CO2 emissions
• has zero global warming and ozone depletion potential.

Nick Searle, managing director of Web Dynamics said: “We have focused in the past 12 months on getting a clearer understanding of how our products are used in the market and any barriers to our success in the insulation arena.

“When it became clear that there were mispronunciation issues with our products we took the simple decision to make things easier for the customer and re-brand. Early indications are that our new name is much simpler to ask for and it makes our product extensions better propositions too.”
