 | | E-MOTIVE WINS MAJOR CONTRACT FOR LIFT DISPLAYS AT HEATHROW TERMINAL 5 | | | E-Motive Display | | 28/11/2006 | | | Lift display specialist E-Motive Display has supplied over 800 dot-matrix displays for use in over 140 lifts at London Heathrow Airport's new Terminal 5 development. The displays were specially customised for this project using E-Motive's high density, 1.8mm dot matrix modules, with an extra bright super-amber colour for better visibility.
The units were supplied as part of an integrated package, complete with encoder interfaces, voice synthesis units, ultra-slim gongs and E-Motive's innovative EN Buzz sounder. This ensured significant savings on wiring and labour costs for the installers.
E-Motive designs and manufactures the software, electronics and hardware for a wide selection of lift displays and monitoring systems. These range from simple dot-matrix directional displays to high-end, full-colour multimedia screens showing floor directories, TV feeds, video clips, animations, still ads, stock market information and fixed or variable text messages. | |
