 | | NEW AIR-OPEN UNDERLAY MEETS DECENT HOMES STANDARD | | | Klober Ltd | | 20/11/2007 | | | | Kettering Roofing has been among the first contractors in the UK to use Klober’s newly launched air-open membrane, Permo Air. It has installed the underlay as part of the Northamptonshire Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy and Kettering Borough Council’s focus of work to upgrade 40 individual dwellings and 10 blocks of flats on the town’s Grange Estate. Re-roofing was identified as a key element in the provision of thermally efficient homes to Decent Homes Standard requirements. Permo Air was immediately chosen for Phase 2 of the work for its exceptionally low water vapour resistance and high water vapour transmission - 13% better than any other product currently available. | |
