 | | CONTROL SITE DUST SAFELY AND EASILY WITH NEW ZIPWALL® SCREENING | | | Protec International Limited | | 31/10/2007 | | | New ZipWall® complete, rapid fit, portable barrier system from Protec, the UK’s leading supplier of temporary protection materials, is a simple, safe and highly effective solution to dust control problems in a wide range of construction environments.
Airborne dust and debris can be a serious health and safety issue on internal work sites and many of the currently available solutions can be cumbersome and time-consuming to erect, and are often of low efficiency.
ZipWall® has been specifically designed to solve these and a range of other on-site concerns, which is why it has won wide acclaim – and industry awards1 – across North America as THE safe, simple solution to dust control problems on site.
ZipWall® is a patented system that features a simple lightweight, two-piece telescopic prop with a spring loaded head that, when positioned, firmly holds the screening material in place. A simple twist mechanism locks the prop before the operator moves on to the next position. Once all the screening is in place ZipWall® Tight-Seal foam rails and side clamps ensure a perfect surface seal, without any need for fixing tapes or nails etc.
The new system can be used with any of Protec's renowned screening materials such as Flame Retardant LPCB Approved or standard polythenes, LPCB approved Flame Retardant Barrier Sheet or Flame Retardant Promesh HD 1207.
Having screened the worksite, a temporary, re-sealable dust control doorway can be swiftly and simply installed using the ZipWall® Door System.
The ZipWall® System is a highly effective and efficient solution that builders and contractors have been searching for to quickly screen internal work sites. It’s simple and easy to use – the screening can be in place in a few minutes. Its reusable, robust and durable, and it will delight customers by minimising disruption in the environment surrounding the work site. | |
