Hochiki Europe Expands Warehouse Facilities at Gillingham HQ

Due to increased sales demands and to honour its commitment to providing exceptional customer service, Hochiki Europe has recently expanded its warehousing facility at its Gillingham HQ.

The purpose-built warehouse, measuring 2600 square metres, is situated adjacent to the existing warehouse, which in turn will be partly redeveloped for an imminent expansion of the Research & Development Department.

With ever-increasing customer requests for next day delivery on products, Hochiki can now further improve the service and range of ready-to-ship products both to UK and overseas customers.

Kevin Restell, Hochiki Europe's Production Director commented, 'The new warehouse more than doubles our stockholding capacity. We currently achieve in excess of 97 percent ship-to-promise on deliveries and the new warehouse will be an important step towards reaching our aim of 100 percent fulfilment on next day delivery. In addition we will also be able to offer this service to a number of customers outside of the UK. Furthermore, the new warehouse has left a vacant area in the existing factory building making way for further expansion of our R&D facility as well as additional factory space.'
