 | | ECHELON’S LONWORKS® PRODUCTS NOW AVAILABLE FROM SONTAY | | | Sontay | | 19/10/2007 | | | Sontay, the market leading manufacturer and supplier of field control devices for building services applications, has formed a partnership with Echelon to distribute its market leading LonWorks portfolio of automation infrastructure products for energy and building control applications.
Primarily a manufacturer, Sontay complements its environmental and control peripherals range control by supplying products sourced from the highest calibre, third party manufacturers. As part of this strategy, Sontay will provide its customers with access to the full range of LonWorks enabled building equipment from Echelon. These devices integrate easily with existing or new building sub-systems, such as HVAC systems and lighting systems based on the LonWorks protocol (a.k.a., EN-14908), helping to extend energy management capabilities throughout an entire building. Included in this range is the i.LON® Internet Server which offers the ability to remotely control and monitor assets whilst reducing energy and maintenance costs.
